It wasn't totally incident free, going off the road at Otira Gorge is going to hurt but to be honest, not as much as it would have done in a car. Fortunately Dave was able to walk up the cliff and was heard to say "I think that cracking noise I heard was my shoulder breaking". Anyway, here's a snap taken at Jacksons on the way over:

Bruce Telford at "Sound of Thunder" practice

He raced it for the first time on Saturday 28th Feb and won!

Bruce is an experienced motorcycle racer with over 15 years racing under his belt. Bruce's aggressive riding style sees him strive for that win, usually on an a Triumph or Aprilia! Overseas experience at the Northwest 200 in Ireland and the Isle of Man where he was one of the fastest newcomers, shows he is serious about this sport.

He has had many wins over the years, these have included the John Britten Memorial Formula 1 title, numerous BEARS "Sound of Thunder" championships as well as Wanganui, Nelson and Greymouth Street races. He holds track records at Taupo, Mansfield and Paeroa.

We are privileged to be able to offer him our support and expect to see him throughout the country this year. As well as our support, Bruce has sponsorship from Forbes and Davies. More sponsors will be welcomed by Bruce with open arms!
